I recently had a reader who did just that and moved to a boutique, but it's hard to do, say, local tech consulting in China ==> Goldman Sachs TMT. Really trying to be creative now. I'm curious what you might think about taking an offer in a developing country (like China) @ local pay? Let's say it was in some sort of technology consultancy role with a major multinational firm like IBM ... could this be weighed better than the ski bum, non profit, and teaching English cop outs?
