It depends on where you want to work and which team you enjoy working with the most. I can't decide for you. It is also a lifestyle choice because you are looking at 2 different cities. The visa can be an issue so if you can find a company which is willing to sponsor you and you want to work in the States, I'd give this option more consideration

Hey Brian/Nicole, I have a big dilemma and I would love some advice:
I'm Brasileiro, 24, graduated this last december from a top Brasilian University. I have kind of two job offers, first one is a boutique M&A in the NE USA(not NYC), it's a 20people boutique specialised in cross-border M&A and corporate finance so they need people fluent in Spanish/Portuguese, they are offering 50k base and 25% bonus, 25% travel to Latam but no more than 80hr week, 70hr being average.

The other job offer(almost sure) is a MM 10people PE boutique in Sao Paulo(not prestigious, barely known), less money by US standards but pretty good by brasilian. My plan is to work 3 years and then I wanna go to Harvard/Stanford/Columbia/Chicago, after that I would love to do VC, first in the States but the end goal is to start my own VC in Brasil. Brasilians love people with american experience so that's a pro for the first option but I don't like that much the american way of life and I like Brasil(models, bottles, family and friends), on the other hand I don't want to miss a great opportunity like working in the States even though I know that I'm going to be a little unhappy and it's a big commitment because they are sponsoring my visa and everything.
So, what do you think?
